You are water,
and some wind;
I am adrift
in your currents;
You make me feel,
with cottony sails;
You persuade me,
to follow you,
into murky depths,
beyond the bluest blue,
of your swell;
As you wrap me,
in your infinity,
stars shine under your canopy;
And I am wandering,
wondering of your will;
With my eyes,
still collecting shells,
on the long gone coasts,
along your unknown frontiers;

I will be driftwood,
when you leave me,
dry and coarse,
from overuse;
Always dreaming of floating, this way,
yet I will remain,
inches away from your sea.
