You are right! (Could you tell it’s a female too?) This was at the wetlands centre where I volunteer. All they want is food, and we are taught not to feed them. They’ve learned to follow us around and annoy us, but it’s their singing voice that gets me (for those who don’t know, magpies sound very much like the bot r2d2 from Star Wars) So when I dig for plants I dig extra deep, just so the birds can get to the worms 🙂

The picture was taken post lunch, the bird stayed with me all day that day! <3
